Our atmospheric water generator PHANTOR has arrived in Dubai and is now successfully doing his job on a hotel island in the archipelago “The Heart of Europe”.
As a reminder: We sent PHANTOR to Dubai for the first stop of his world tour earlier this year. There he produces drinking water as part of a pilot project on one of the hotel islands of the archipelago “The Heart of Europe”, which in turn is part of the larger world-famous archipelago “The World” – because the islands do not have their own drinking water supply and will later accommodate several thousand tourists . Water flowing, plastic superfluous
Elsewhere, a lot of water has flowed under the bridge… but in Dubai, our PHANTOR simply produces the water itself! And that very successfully: PHANTOR now produces drinking water around the clock and supplies the hotel island with it!
In doing so PHANTOR proves itself in several possible areas of application: It shows that it can easily supply a hotel with its up to 10,000 liters of pure drinking water per day – and thus makes the drinking water supply via tanks and plastic bottles as well as the desalination of seawater superfluous. As a result, it not only contributes to the drinking water supply, but also significantly to the reduction of the CO2 footprint of the hotel project!
Under construction
Since “The Heart of Europe” is a gigantic project that is still in the construction phase, it is also necessary to supply a construction camp of hundreds of workers with drinking water. PHANTOR also manages this – and thus demonstrates further possible use cases: The supply of remote locations such as large construction sites, mines and villages with drinking water.
Turning air into water
During the course of commissioning, water analyzes were also carried out – and have now been completed. They testify to the high quality of the drinking water that PHANTOR produces by condensing water from the ambient air: the drinking water not only satisfies the worldwide WHO guidelines, but also the higher quality Austrian standards. In order to reach this level, the harvested water also goes through a series of filters, including activated carbon filters, UV sterilization, mineralization and bacteria filters.
PHANTOR can therefore report success on all levels!
